GIF2023 is a key meeting where the budget allocated by the US for international affairs – diplomacy, development, various programs – is discussed. Together, we requested $60 billion, which is just 1% of the total federal budget.
We are proud that Eliz Nestorov and Dobrina Ustun managed to draw the attention of Congress members to diplomacy in Eastern Europe, with a special focus on Bulgaria. At a global level, promoting the sharing of Euro-Atlantic values is of vital importance to us at ABBА. Our discussions at this forum aimed to emphasize their significance and strengthen our relationships in the region.
Together, we supported the importance of investments in international affairs and highlighted that valuable partnerships can achieve significant results!

Eliz Nestorov, President of ABBA, and Sevdalin Spasov, Co-president, greeted our compatriots and presented the goal of the organization to them. The result was a great interest in joining ABBA from small and medium-sized businesses looking to start branches in Bulgaria.

The General Consul of the Republic Bulgaria, Angel Angelov, was also present at the gathering, and he also addressed the gathered crow. The Bulgarian community there exceeds 30,000 people.
