The Consul General of Bulgaria in New York, Angel Angelov, and the president of ABBА, Sevdalin Spasov, held a fruitful meeting. The two discussed a wide range of topics related to the lives and challenges of the Bulgarian diaspora in the USA, which numbers over 30,000 people in the surrounding states.

Consul Angel Angelov welcomed ABBА’s efforts to develop economic ties between Bulgaria and the USA and confirmed the readiness of the Consulate General for active cooperation. The possibility of opening an ABBА representative office in New York in the autumn was also discussed, which would contribute to better interaction between the consulate, our association, and the Bulgarian diaspora here.
